Summit Students
Welcome to our dynamic student ministry for 6th -12 th grade students! We offer weekly worship, groups, events, camps, and serving opportunities in our local community.
In Matthew 4:19, Jesus called his first followers with a simple invitation, “Come follow me!” He offers each one of us that same invitation and how we respond is the heart of our mission.
Here, we encourage each other to Courageously Pursue Jesus Daily. It’s about stepping forward in faith, embracing who Jesus is, and saying yes to the life that he offers one day at a time.
Whether students are new to faith, exploring their faith, or looking to grow deeper, all are invited to join us on this journey. Together we are making the decision to follow Jesus every day with courage.
We believe every student matters. They’re fully known and deeply loved by God. Our ministry is about helping students belong, just as they are. We want them to grow in confidence, discover their identity in Christ, and know they’re part of something bigger.
“See how very much our Father loves us, for He calls us His children, and that is what we are!” 1 John 3:1 (NLT)
We’re all about authentic and real relationships. By connecting with leaders and peers, students find trust, encouragement, and support. Our community helps them explore their faith and heal through God’s love. We’ve all been restored through God’s grace and forgiveness in Jesus, and we want students to experience that same restoration.
“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)
We are passionate about empowering students to live out their faith, because we believe they were created by God on purpose for a purpose. Their faith isn’t just something personal, it’s meant to show up in everyday life. We want students to know they can make a real impact right where they are: in their homes, schools, and communities.
“Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12 (NLT)
We want the love of Jesus experienced through our ministry to be passed down from one generation to the next. As students grow in their faith, they are empowered to invest in the next generation. This allows our ministry to keep moving forward, with each generation building on the last.
“We will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord.” Psalm 78:4b (NLT)
