One of the best ways to meet people, develop relationships, and grow as a follower of Christ is to serve the local church. And it’s not just on the weekends! Serving opportunities are available seven days a week. Find out how you can make a difference by joining a ministry team. For more information, contact Liz Schaus.
One of the greatest commands Jesus gave in the New Testament was to love your neighbor as yourself. The heart to serve comes from our Christ like love for those around us. When you get connected to a local outreach opportunity, you get to use your God-given talents to change lives. Feed My Starving Children is one of the ways we partner with our community to make a difference. Join Summit and the Verrado Community to help pack meals for Feed My Starving children on Saturday, April 14 or Sunday, April 15, 2018. Shifts are two hours and ages 5 and up are welcome to participate in this fun event. Our goal For 2018 is to pack 50 pallets full of meals for a total of 388,800 meals! You may also donate to help reach the goal of $85,536 to cover the cost of the meals.

We believe that God is at work in our world and that He desires for us to engage with Him by serving. We are passionate about serving the global community and demonstrating God’s love through partnerships with organizations like CALMS and 1MISSION. We are currently partnered with organizations that cross borders in Mexico and Guatemala. We partner financially by supporting specific projects which meet holistic needs in their communities, and we partner relationally by providing opportunities for our people to engage and share God’s love through various mission trip opportunities.
