Summit Staff Openings

Want to make a difference in our church, community and world?  Summit Community Church is a growing Christian Church in the West Valley of Phoenix passionate about changed lives and impacting our community and world.

Apply to be part of our Summit staff team! We are seeking fun and enthusiastic team members who are passionate about growing God kingdom and reaching more people for Jesus.

 

Children’s Ministry Director (full-time)

This person will partner with our staff and lay leaders to develop, direct, and oversee Summit Kids (infant – 5th grade) as we lead people who are far from God to courageously follow Jesus.  A successful candidate is a visionary leader with the ability to develop strong volunteer teams.  For this to be true, they must possess excellent people, team building and delegation skills.

Worship Arts Director (full-time)

This person will lead one of our three strategic environments as we seek to fulfill our mission – Leading people who are far from God to courageously follow Jesus.  This person will partner with our staff, lay leaders and volunteers to develop, direct and oversee Summit’s worship ministry.  A successful candidate will possess excellent people, communication, team building and delegation skills.

Volunteer & Events Coordinator (part-time)

This person will facilitate the connection of new volunteers and partner with our staff and lay leaders to produce invite-worthy events on Summit’s campus from conception to completion. Flexibility, leadership development and building of teams will be required to recruit and onboard new volunteers, manage invite-worthy events, and build a fun on-campus atmosphere throughout the year.  A successful candidate will possess excellent team building and delegation skills.

Office Coordinator (part-time)

This person will lead a team of volunteers to effectively welcome people to Summit midweek, create a positive first impression on campus and organize central supplies and systems needed to support the overall ministry.  This person will interact with staff, volunteers, and guests in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, proactive, efficient and fun, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.  A successful candidate will possess good written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail.
