Description

In this study, we are going on a 40-day adventure to serve like Jesus. We were made for more than just believing and existing until you die. You were made to serve, just like Jesus. For the first 6-weeks together we will look at 5 aspects of serving like Jesus: attitude, availability, action, ability, and ambition. For these 40 days, we will be on a life changing journey to SERVE like Him. Daily devotionals, serving challenges, and reflective questions will be a part of each week.

During our group, we will spend time connecting with one another, sharing the discoveries from our devotions, watch a video by the study author, dig into our bible and learn from one another in our discussions. We will also decide on a group service project for us to do together.

The final few weeks of our group we will jump into another study together, Untangle Your Emotions. God made us to feel our emotions, to examine and share them–not manage or suppress them. During our group, we will learn what it means to live emotionally-healthy lives from studying Jesus’ life and how he cared for and responded to the people around Him.

Each participant will need a Serving Challenge book. Books can be picked up in the lobby at Summit on the weekends during services or throughout the week, Mon-Thurs, from 9-4pm. There is a $15 donation for each book to help cover the costs.

Meet the Leaders:  Niki Stewart, Tamara Liberati, and Danielle Evans-Brum

Niki’s hobbies include travel, concerts, wine, game nights, and spending time with friends. Tamara loves meeting new people, crafting, DIY projects, self-development, self-care, and game nights. Danielle enjoys spending time with her 2 kids, hiking, trying new restaurants, and taking short weekend trips around Arizona.
