Thank you so much to everyone who served and invited your friends this past weekend. Because of you we were able to celebrate our Savior’s resurrection with almost 1300 people from our church and community!
It was a record-breaking crowd for Summit, and I love that many people took steps of faith on Sunday. We’ve had the opportunity to connect with many this week who asked about being baptized and making a fresh start with Jesus.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead… 1 Peter 1:3
Please join me in praying for those who are looking for hope and new life this Easter season! I’m excited to see what God has in store for them (and us) and we hold tightly to the victory that Jesus has won.
On Sunday, April 10th we will celebrate our spring Baptism Bash. If you or your family have not been baptized, I want to encourage you to be a part of this important day.
It’s easy to register online (click here).
Jesus said that “whoever believes and is baptized will be saved.” (Mark 16:16) It’s one of the reasons why we call everyone put their hope in Jesus and be baptized. To see some of the other incredible promises God makes in baptism, check these out this Summit Baptism FAQ handout.
We celebrate as adults get baptized–and when parents step forward as spiritual leaders to bring their children to get baptized! When you register, our team will get you all the details you need for that morning. If you have any questions right now, feel free to reply to the email and let me know.
See You Sunday,
P.S. Help us pack 300,000 meals for hungry kids by giving or registering to pack meals on April 30 & May 1. I’d love for you to be a part of this year’s Feed My Starving Children project (and invite others you know to participate)!
