I’m excited about the new series beginning on Sunday!
As we head into the Thanksgiving and Christmas season, people often experience a range of emotions. Learning to manage them well is a key to peace of mind and healthy relationships!
It’s why this Sunday we kick off this series called “How to Deal with How You Feel.” I hope you can join us as we dig into some practical teaching from God’s Word.
Everyone deals with their emotions and feelings in a different way. Some families are very expressive and some are more reserved. But whatever your personality or experience – responding to how you feel in a healthy way (with the Lord’s guidance) makes a huge difference.
Men’s Breakfast
Tomorrow morning (Saturday) there is a Summit men’s breakfast from 8-9:30am at the Saddle Mountain Brewing Company in Goodyear (see map). The cost is $10 at the door.
The featured speaker will be Tom Mayer, a man of great faith and a prison ministry leader. In the past three years, God has used Tom to lead around 800 men into a relationship with Christ. All guys are invited to come and bring a friend as he shares his story called “Maximum Security – in Prison or in Christ.”
As Jesus reminds us, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36)
God’s Blessings,
Pastor Nate
P.S. By popular demand, there is now wearable gear (with our Summit logo) available for purchase through a new Lands’ End “Summit Store” (click here). Check it out!
