I’m pumped to see the number of middle and high school youth that are getting connected at Summit! As Pastor Vince shared this past week in worship, we have seen 60% growth in our youth worship service this past year.
That new growth means that we will be adding a second youth service this Sunday with the format below:
Join me in praying for more students to know Jesus–and for all our youth be spiritual leaders in this generation!
Teenagers face many opportunities and temptations… It’s why Paul reminded Timothy (as a young, up-and-coming leader):
“So shun youthful passions and aim at righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call upon the Lord from a pure heart.” 2 Timothy 2:22
I can’t wait to see how students’ lives will be changed through these two worship services (especially since our Apex team can focus even more on what our students need at those different age levels).
Baptism Bash – Register Now
On Sunday, October 25th we will celebrate our final outdoor Baptism Bash of the year. If you or your kids have not been baptized yet, I want to encourage you to take a step of faith and be a part of this life-changing day.
In Acts 2, the church began when people put their faith in
Jesus, were baptized and received the Holy Spirit. God continues to save people and change families today!
The people above were a part of our Baptism Bash in August. Is it your time?
I have really enjoyed preaching this current series on God’s unshakable promises… Standing on the truth of His Word provides incredible guidance & strength in daily life. And one of the most precious promises we have is knowing that we have a new life because we are a baptized child of God!
Yours in Christ,
For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you. Galatians 3:26-29
