Summit is stepping forward to serve some of our local schools, and I’d love to have you join us!
On Saturday, September 29th we will participate in Love Our Schools Day. Several local elementary and middle schools have asked for our help with clean-up projects that Saturday… so we told them they could count on our church!
Summit is passionate about making a difference in our community. If you’d like to jump in to have some fun and serve with us, here’s the plan:
Saturday, September 29
7:15am – Meet at Verrado High School in the our Sunday morning parking lot. Check in with our team and enjoy a donut (or other light refreshments) as we get everyone connected with a team and your site leader.
7:45am – Our serving teams will travel to these four school campuses: Verrado Heritage Elementary School, Verrado Middle School, Scott L. Libby Elementary School, and White Tanks Learning Center.
8:00am – Serve with your team at that school. Projects are determined by campus administrators, and the ending times may vary (it will be no later than 12:30). Stay as long as you can to help love our schools!
To help us plan for food that morning and the number of volunteers, click here to RSVP.
Families are welcome to serve, but children in elementary school (K-5) and younger will need to be supervised by their parents. Middle School and High School Students can serve on their own, but they must have their own transportation planned out.

I am so excited about this new serving opportunity, and hope that you will consider joining my family for Love Our Schools Day!
P.S. Baptism Bash is coming soon (September 30th). If you or your kids have not been baptized, we’d love for you to be a part of this special day. You can sign up here and check out our Baptism FAQs to learn more about God’s promises!
