I’d like to ask your prayers for Pastor Vince, his family and his future ministry work.

He recently accepted the call to serve as Executive Director (the overall Lead Pastor) for a growing network of churches. You can learn more about the work of LINC Ministries International at www.linc.org.

We will certainly miss Pastor Vince here at Summit, and we are grateful for the ways God has worked through him these past three years!

His final Sunday will be July 1, and he’ll also be around the next two weekends in June. Feel free to take a moment to thank him (and his family) for their ministry when you have the chance.

In the middle of this transition, Pastor Vince also received the news that his father passed away early Monday morning. Please pray for their family as they travel this coming week for his funeral in Rochester, New York.

I’m grateful in times like these that the Lord promises to answer all who call on him!

“On the day I called, You answered me; You made me bold with strength in my soul.” (Psalm 138:3)

Next Steps for Summit

I’m grateful for Vince’s partnership in ministry and trust the Lord has great plans for LINC (and for Summit) in the days to come.

Summit’s Board of Directors and I have been working on the plan going forward. Initially, we intend to add a business manager (to the Summit staff) and a project manager (to help oversee the I-10 campus construction).

Here’s a brief update from our Board Chair, Stan Holm:

Pastor Vince has been an incredible asset to Summit’s staff, but we wish him well with this new opportunity. I know that God will use him to touch many lives in this new leadership role!

Our board has great confidence in our Summit staff and are excited about the opportunities God is giving our church. We are working closely with Pastor Nate to keep moving forward in our mission and ministry.

I’m grateful that we have so many godly men and women who are committed to the cause of Christ!  I love watching our leaders at work, and it was a joy to see our VBS team in action this past week.

Keep praying for the Lord’s favor on Summit’s ministry in the days to come. As we look to the future, have bold trust in God’s provision and plans!

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Nate

P.S.  This Sunday Pastor Vince will share a Father’s Day message called “Who’s Your Daddy?” Check out Ephesians 1:3-14 and join us for worship.
