9/1/17- Helping After Hurricane Harvey

It has been terrible to see the flooding and widespread destruction left in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.

We’ve been watching closely in our church office because many ministry friends and family members live in the region. Some were flooded and some were spared – but all have been impacted deeply by the significance of this storm.

I want to thank everyone who asked how you can help! Below are some trusted ministry organizations who will put your support to good use. Simply click on a link to donate now:

LINC Houston
This ministry has started more than 50 churches in urban Houston and is on the front lines in serving that community. Pastor Vince has served for several years as the chairman of the board and knows that money will make an impact.

Convoy of Hope
This rapid response organization has an outstanding track record of getting supplies and workers to the front lines. They are have already responded on the ground in 15 difference cities in the wider region.

St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance
This local Phoenix organization already sent food and supplies to help with disaster relief. You can help restock their shelves here in Arizona with your donation of money or food.

Thanks for your prayers and for your generosity. In times like these, God works through his church and people in powerful ways.

As Hebrews 13:16 reminds us, “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.”

I know that many of you have already donated, so thanks for using what you have been given to honor God and serve your neighbor!

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Nate
