God created marriage to be an incredible blessing, so why do many people find it challenging?
Jesus reinforced the promise from Genesis 2:24 that “a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh…” There is something amazing that God does when two people are joined together in marriage, but daily life reminds us that relationships are complicated.
It’s why I’m excited to kick off this new series called Two Become One this Sunday, August 20th.
Instead of feeling united together as one, many spouses drift apart. This series will share five different vows you can make to build a strong and lasting marriage. Whether you hope to get married someday or you’ve already tied the knot, you’re invited to discover practical help from God’s Word for your future.
I’m praying this will have a great impact in your life–and help you provide wise, Godly counsel to your friends & family.
If you’re single and don’t intend to get married, there are some powerful insights from God’s Word that will help you encourage your loved ones. If you are a parent, it’s a great opportunity to learn how to give wise advice to your kids (preparing them for marriage success in the future).
I’d appreciate your help to invite some friends, family and neighbors right now to join you for worship! There’s a video invite on Summit’s Facebook page you can share, and a personal invitation always makes a huge difference.
Pray with me that the Holy Spirit uses this series to strengthen marriages, heal broken relationships and prepare those who are dating for a Christ-centered marriage.
I’m excited to see how the Lord will use these five vows to help Two Become One!
See You Sunday,
P.S. Thanks to everyone who donated supplies for the Verrado High School teacher gift baskets. Many teachers have shared how much they appreciated them!
