4/9/15 – What a Great Weekend!

I want to say thank you to our amazing team of volunteers and leaders who served this past weekend! It was a life-changing experience for many people with 530 people attending Good Friday and 1,155 people on Easter Sunday. Thank you to everyone who brought friends and neighbors!

It was a record-breaking crowd for both services, but I’m most excited about about the number of people who are taking steps of faith. Many made a fresh start with Jesus, got more connected at Summit or decided to be a part of our May 3rd Baptism Bash. If you want to be baptized or have your family participate, register today.

As Acts 4:33 shares, “With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all.” Please join me in praying that God’s power will transform many lives in 2015–both in those new in their faith and those who are growing deeper as followers of Christ.

First Communion 2015

As a part of the weekend, 30 students took communion for the first time after studying what the Bible teaches. It was awesome to pray over them and see them take this important step of faith!

This weekend I hope you can join us for our new “Too Good to be True” series. The next few weeks are a great time to join us and bring a friend.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Nate

P.S. If you came for the first time on Easter (or started coming in the past few months), I want to invite you to Pizza with the Pastor this Sunday following the 10:45 service. It’s a casual way to meet our staff team and enjoy a 30 minute free lunch. Please take a moment to RSVP now to help our team plan for food. Kids welcome.
