What a great Easter weekend! Thank you to everyone who brought friends, came early at 8:00am and volunteered from Good Friday to Easter Sunday.
It was our largest weekend ever at Summit, and I’m thankful that many people took steps of faith as we celebrated the power of Christ’s resurrection.
On Easter morning I closed my message with this Bible verse, praying that the Lord will impact the lives of many people in the weeks and months to come:
“I pray that you will begin to understand how incredibly great his power is to help those who believe him. It is that same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in heaven…” Ephesians 1:19-20
In the next few weeks, our new message series will focus on ways that we can be STRONGER with God’s power at work in our lives.
This Sunday my message is “Stronger Marriages” – sharing 5 things that will make a powerful difference in marriage. They can also be transformational for families and friendships, so I’m praying that God works through it in a powerful way!
Join us this weekend, invite a friend and pray with me that many marriages & families will be strengthened. It’s a great opportunity for people to invest in a healthy marriage or seek God’s help to breathe life into a difficult one.
Summit Kids and VBS
It will be 6pm-8pm on June 5-8 for students entering Kindergarten to 6th grade next year. VBS is a fun-filled week for students and volunteers… so save the date and welcome other families in our community to participate!
This Sunday the Summit Kids team will share a VBS invite with some Lego-shaped candy. I don’t know who discovered it (and the genius who created it), but they look very cool.
I’m pumped about this weekend, and we look forward to seeing you there. There is daily hope to be found in the power of the resurrection!
Yours in Christ,
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
