Come join us for a powerful Easter weekend! I love this season of the year as we remember our Savior’s sacrifice on Good Friday and celebrate new life on Easter morning.
“And Jesus Christ our Lord was shown to be the Son of God when God powerfully raised him from the dead by means of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 1:4)
We are praying that many will join us and be encouraged in their faith. The weekend begins in just two days with an impactful evening service:
GOOD FRIDAY – April 14
6:00 & 7:30pm
Thank you for helping spread the word to neighbors, co-workers, friends and family. Your personal welcome and recommendation makes a HUGE difference.
Many people will say yes (if invited)… so who are you bringing with you to church?
This past Sunday I shared about four friends who did whatever it took to bring their friend to Jesus… ultimately cutting a hole in the roof of a house! (Mark 2:1-12) It was a bold move–that changed their friend’s life forever. You never know how God will work through you!
My Sunday message will focus on the hope and strength and God offers through Jesus. Pray with me that the good news of Easter will hit home and impact the lives of many people.
Kids and Student Ministry
On Good Friday there will be childcare available for young children. Adults and students will worship together in the auditorium for this experiential service.
At the second Good Friday service, 26 students (grade 5+) will be taking communion for the first time with their families. How exciting to see them learn about the Lord’s Supper and take that step of faith!
On Easter Sunday our Summit Kids programs (nursery-5th grade) will be available all three services. Student worship services will be available at the following times:
8:00am – APEX 678 (middle school)
9:30am – APEX 678 (middle school)
11:00am – APEX HS (high school)
It’s going to be a GREAT weekend! I’m excited about what God is doing through our church and how He’s changing lives.
Yours in Christ,
P.S. If you are a Summit regular, we encourage you to worship at 8:00am if you can to help free up more spots for guests later that morning. If you are bringing friends… go with whatever time works best! 🙂
