I’m pumped that we will soon celebrate Easter! It is a powerful weekend to remember how much Jesus sacrificed (Good Friday) and celebrate His victory on Easter morning.
It’s the perfect time to invite people you know, so be aware of others God places in your path this week. Be courageous and ask them to come and join you for worship at Summit.
Of course, you don’t want to be like these two…
Click on the video above for a great reminder about what NOT to do this coming week. 🙂
Just be yourself. Jesus works through ordinary people to make a big difference. Connect in person, share Summit’s Easter invite on Facebook and look for other creative ways to spread the word. All services are at Verrado High School, and the times are to the left.
Then Jesus said to them, “So wherever you go in the world, tell everyone the Good News.” John 16:15 (GW)
Prodigal God Series
This Sunday I’m going to share a message called “Longing for Home.” The prodigal son in Jesus’ parable came to his senses and said, “I will set out and go back to my father…” (Luke 15:18)
The truth is this: It’s easy for everyone to wander away or get disconnected from God. This story helps to remind us that there is a universal longing for home–a desire for what is wrong and broken to be make right.
I can’t wait to share what the Holy Spirit has given me this week! It’s a message about hope for today and trust in the future that God has planned.
See You Sunday,
P.S. Our next Baptism Bash is coming up on April 10th. If it is time for you or someone in your family to be baptized, I would love for you to register now.
