The Arizona Marathon is starting in Verrado early on Sunday, but the road will be open in front of the high school in plenty of time for worship.
Because runners will be on Indian School Road, some people have asked if that will impact Summit’s access. We’ve talked with the race coordinator, and everything will be clear in our local area.
For those of you coming from Surprise and northern Goodyear, the 303 & Indian School intersection may still be closed. Simply plan to use I-10, heading north on Jackrabbit or Verrado Way.
I’m excited to continue our new Defining Moments series this weekend. We are taking a look at different stories in the Bible when people had a significant conversation or encounter with Jesus.
When they were open to Him, that moment often transformed their lives and significantly shaped their future! My prayer for everyone at Summit is that we’ll be open to those times when God is on the verge of doing something significant in our lives.
Don’t miss those moments! It would be incredible to see what the Holy Spirit would do if we learned to consistently listen, trust and obey.
Join a Growth Group
Registration is now open for our spring Growth Groups, and I want to encourage you to sign up for one of the many options available during the week.
I talked with someone recently who moved out of state and heard how much she missed the Growth Groups here at Summit. She was so grateful for the way she grew in her faith and built meaningful friendships in her groups.
One of the best ways to hear God’s voice and be ready for your defining moments is to regularly meet with other followers of Jesus and spend time in His Word. Check out the options and decide today to be a part of a spring group!
See You Sunday,
