I’m thankful that our church is a place that celebrates lives changed by Jesus!
It’s fun to watch people cheering on a Sunday morning when more are baptized into God’s family. It’s a joy to see people boldly serve, give and reach others for Christ.
And I love watching adults, students and kids take steps of faith because of how Jesus is working in their lives.
That’s why I’m so excited about the church-wide series starting on February 4th called Be the Message!
This 5-week spiritual journey will encourage us (adults, students and kids) to show God’s love to those around us in tangible ways. It’s about taking our faith beyond just words to a life of action.
It’s what Jesus has done for us!
“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14)
Jesus came into our world and chose to become a part of our lives. He not only preached the Good News–He showed people in his actions and life. It’s His plan for us to Be the Message to others as well.
To that end, Summit leaders recently came up with some fun ideas and creative ways to make a difference in our community. It’s going to be exciting to see what God does in us and through us in the days to come!
I want everyone at Summit to be a part of this journey, so plan to be here for worship on February 4th and invite some friends. If you haven’t already joined a Growth Group, register for one now or this Sunday at church:

Groups will begin the week of February 4th in homes all around the West Valley. Our adult groups will do the same Be the Message study through the first week in March. After our church-wide series, each group will focus on their own unique topic.
As we head into 2018, I’m thankful for all of you and excited about the ways I see the Holy Spirit working in our church.
Pray with me that this journey will make an impact in our lives, the West Valley and the world!
Yours in Christ,
