What are some ways you are getting together with people this Christmas season?

Many attend work parties and community events. Perhaps you have plans to get together with friends or gather with your family. At our house this week, our Growth Group shared a Christmas meal, laughed and enjoyed a great evening together.

It’s fun to see people connect this season, and I pray that many will gather (like the shepherds that first Christmas) to celebrate the birth of our Savior! When the angels had returned to heaven, the shepherds said to each other, “Let’s go to Bethlehem! Let’s see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” Luke 2:15  It’s hard to believe, but Summit’s first Christmas worship services are in 8 days!

As we gather for worship on Christmas weekend, there are four identical worship times:

December 23 – 4:30 & 6:00pm

December 24 – 4:30 & 6:00pm

Your personal invitations make a huge difference, so welcome others you know to join us. Even if you’ve invited someone before, you never know how the Holy Spirit will work through that invite this year!

Thanks for also spreading the word on Facebook or other social media channels you use. Check out the Christmas worship info on Summit’s Facebook page and share it with your friends… You never know how that invite may end up connecting with someone else in our community.

I’m excited to share a message of hope for people and families as we gather together those nights. Jesus’ birth and promises are truly what our world needs most! Pray with me that many people find hope in Jesus and are encouraged in their faith.

See you this Sunday–and as we celebrate Christmas together next week!

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Nate

P.S. We’ve added one more service on December 23rd this year.  If you are a Summit regular and your schedule is flexible, join us on Saturday night to help open up more seating on December 24th. Thanks!
