God’s blessings as you celebrate Thanksgiving today!
My heart is filled with gratitude as I think about the hope we have in Christ, the family in my life and for all of you at Summit. It is a joy to serve the Lord with you!
Many of you have taken significant steps of faith this past year (some in the past few weeks). Keep trusting in Jesus, fix your eyes on Him and thank God for what He’s doing in your life. I’m proud of you–and continue to lift you up in my prayers:
“I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in all my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better.” (Ephesians 1:16-17)
I’m also very grateful for the opportunity God is giving us to build our first permanent campus and reach many more people for Jesus in the West Valley. Thanks for your prayers as our building team works with the city to get everything approved and ready to go.
P.S. Our Joy of Giving project to help West Valley families in need is now underway… Thanks for bringing unwrapped toys, diapers, baby wipes, non-perishable food items and gift cards to with you worship this Sunday. [If you are a Black Friday shopper, look for some crazy deals to help you bless even more people this Christmas!]11.
