10/30/15 – New Series this Sunday

This Sunday I’m excited to kick off a new message series called “All In.” It will be a fun and important series, so I highly encourage you to join us this weekend and in the coming weeks!

God has worked in some incredible ways in our church. People through the years have asked, “Why do we do that here at Summit?” Or they will observe something unique about our ministry and say, “I love how our church is making an impact that way.”

Every church (and person) has a unique set of core values. They help to guide decisions and set priorities. They help to answer the question “What is unique impact God calling us us to make in His kingdom?”

The wise person and church knows when to go “All In” – so I’m excited to focus on the core values the Lord has given our church!

God’s Word teaches us that there is power in unity:

“How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!” Psalm 133:1

[Jesus taught] “I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:19

This is not only important for us as a church, it is also a powerful principle to understand with your marriage, family, friends or co-workers. Whenever you want to work together toward a common goal or priority, it is a blessing to agree upon some shared values.

With that in mind, I look forward to seeing you this Sunday! We’ve got some fun and creative things planned in the coming weeks you won’t want to miss. Let’s celebrate how God is at work in our church and what He will do as we unite together in ministry!

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Nate

P.S. This Halloween weekend is a fantastic time to get to know your neighbors. Is there any other time during the year when so many people will walk up to your door (or allow you to do the same)? Whatever plans you have the next couple days, seize this opportunity to pray for our community, and look for ways to put the love of Christ into action.
