Do you remember the first day your went to a new school? It is common for many people to wonder: “Am I going to fit in here? Will I make new friends? I wish I knew how everything worked here.”
Even for adults, it is a natural response when you start a new job, move to a new neighborhood or start attending a new church.
So if you are new at Summit (or simply want to start getting more connected), I want to invite you to be a part of a group starting next week:
Get Connected Group
4 weeks beginning Wednesday, Oct. 28 @ 6:30pm
Contact email@example.com for more info
God created us with a need for healthy relationships. It’s why He calls us to meet together with other believers on a regular basis:
“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” (Hebrews 10:23-25)
There is hope in God’s promises… but He knows that we need motivation and encouragement from others!
This is one of the reasons why we put a high value on our Growth Groups in homes throughout the West Valley. We launched 27 groups in September (with more than 350 adults and youth). We want to see everyone grow in their faith and experience the power of Christian community!
Before our next big group launch on Jan. 31st, this 4-week Get Connected Group is a great way to give groups a try and meet some new people!
You are in my prayers. May God continue to bless your faith and fill you with the hope of his promises.
Yours in Christ,
P.S. I loved seeing the launch of a 2nd Apex youth service launch this past weekend. It is a joy to watch what the Lord is doing in the next generation at Summit!
