Come join us for a fun morning this Sunday!
We’re celebrating an amazing VBS week and the start of summer with a fantastic day planned by our Summit Kids team.
There will be bounce houses, games, gift bags for kids, and snow cones for everyone following each service (in the big gym).
It’s a perfect day to invite some friends and neighbors.
We ended the week with around 450 kids registered this year! What a party it was every night. I’m thankful to our 200+ volunteers for making this a special experience for so many kids from our church and community.
This Sunday is also the time that kids and students are promoted to their next grade level. It’s a special day! And everyone is invited to be a part of this celebration whether or not they were at Vacation Bible School this week.
Our Summit Kids and Summit Students teams will be available to answer any questions families have about their child’s new room or ministry environment. Students going into Kindergarten, 4th grade, 6th grade and 9th grade all get to “move up” this weekend at Summit.
I love watching so many kids from our church and community get excited as they learn about Jesus! Our theme this year was ROAR: Life is Wild – God is Good.
There was definitely a roar in the room as the kids shouted, sang, danced and cheered through the songs, drama, Bible stories, games and activities this week. Because it is free to register, many kids invited friends (and many of them do not have a church home).
Pray with me that God’s promises connect deeply with kids and families in the days to come!
I’m grateful to be a part of a church that is reaching the next generation for Christ. Thank you for serving, giving and being a part of what the Lord is doing through Summit!
P.S. Would you be willing to make a special gift to Summit’s Mission and Ministry Fund? We provide Vacation Bible School as a free ministry for our community. It helps kids invite their friends and gets a lot of people connected – but is a significant financial investment.
