What a great Easter weekend! Thank you to everyone brought friends to worship and served from Good Friday to Easter Sunday.

Many people shared how moved they were by worship on Friday night… and the joy they felt celebrating on Easter. As our staff team met this week, I loved hearing stories of lives impacted along the way!

For everyone out of state, check out the fun tabloid-style worship folder our team designed for Easter on this April Fools weekend:

For everyone out of state, check out the fun tabloid-style worship folder our team designed for Easter on this April Fools weekend:

When Jesus rose from the dead, the religious leaders quickly tried to sow doubt about what really happened.
“When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.’” (Matthew 28:12-13)

But the Good News about Jesus, his resurrection and the hope he provides cannot be stopped!

The next two Sundays I’ll continue our Fake News series by looking at a couple different ways that people get “stuck” by believing something fake (that appears to be real).

This weekend I’ll share from God’s Word about some ways to overcome doubts in your life. I’m praying it’s helpful and hits home for a bunch of people!

Feed My Starving Children

In just a little over a week (April 14-15), our church and community will join together to pack 272,000 meals in one weekend to help bring hope to hungry kids.

Don’t miss this opportunity!  After our meal-packing sessions, we’ll even have a fun outdoor party to celebrate! Here are the links to get involved:

However you can serve or help to fund these meals, we appreciate your partnership in ministry! If you have any questions, feel free to contact kori@summitcc.org.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Nate
