I’m excited that we will soon celebrate Easter – and would love for you to be a part of it!

It is a powerful weekend to remember how much Jesus sacrificed (Good Friday) and celebrate his victory when he rose from the dead on Easter.

That day an angel shared the incredible Good News that is still changing lives today:

“I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”  Matt. 28:5-6

It’s a perfect time to invite others you know, so be aware of others that God places in your path this week.

Your personal invitation makes more of a difference than most realize! So be courageous and welcome others to celebrate Easter with us at Summit.

Just be yourself. Connect in person, share Summit’s Easter invite on Facebook (click here) and look for other creative ways to spread the word.

On Good Friday there will be childcare for infants-preschool.

On Easter Sunday we will offer Summit Kids (nursery to 5th grade) at all three services. APEX student worship will take place at all three services (middle school at 8 & 9:30; high school at 11:00).

It’s going to be a GREAT weekend. Pray with me that the Holy Spirit builds our faith in the coming days and helps many more in our community experience the power of Jesus’ resurrection in their life!

Feed My Starving Children

Two weeks after Easter our church and community will pack 272,000 meals in one weekend to help bring hope to hungry kids!

Pray about who you can bring with you this year and invite them to be a part of the experience.

Here are some easy ways to participate:

SERVE:  Register to pack meals at a 2-hour shift.

GIVE:  Donate now or help to raise support (click on the “become a fundraiser” box).

However you can serve or help to fund these meals, we appreciate your partnership in ministry! If you have any questions, feel free to contact kori@summitcc.org.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Nate
