I can’t wait to see what God has in store as we take the Red Letter Challenge!
We are launching this church-wide series on Sunday, January 27 to focus on the words of Jesus (often printed in red letters in the Bible) and be challenged to put them into practice.
As Jesus said, “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” (Matthew 7:24)
It’s why I hope that you can join us for worship on Sunday mornings and participate during the week in this 40-day spiritual journey!
Jesus says that as we put His words into practice that we will discover a strong foundation for our lives and families that cannot be shaken–no matter what storms you face.
As we kick off the Red Letter Challenge with adults, youth and kids–I’m excited to see how many people have joined a Growth Group!
If you haven’t already, I want to encourage you to join one now:
Summit’s Growth Groups meet in homes throughout the week with many different options for adults and 6th-12th grade students. It’s a great way to make some new friends and grow in your faith.
Groups will do the same Red Letter Challenge study from the end of January to the first week in March. In the following weeks, each group will then focus on their own unique topic.
At the heart of this series is the 40-day devotional guide to focus on different words of Jesus with a daily challenge to put them into practice. You can get a copy of that devotion book at church (and a t-shirt if you want one as well).
It’s going to be a fun and engaging journey together!
